West Highland’s Music & Arts Summer Day Camp provides an educational experience promoting physical, social, musical, and creative growth for students going into Grades 7-12.
Come enjoy a fun-filled week of music and the arts taught by experienced instructors!
Try making your own instrument, participate in a new drama, try some creative movement, and much more!
Instrumental / Vocal Music:
- Bring your instruments from home and learn some new techniques for playing.
- Try your hand at song-writing.
- Sing and play along with others, while you enjoy making music.
- We will even be building our own instruments!
- A love of music is needed to enjoy this fun-filled week!
Visual Art:
- Experiment with painting, mixed media, drawing, and much more.
- Try some new artistic ideas and talk to experiences artistic instructors.
- Creatively design your musical instrument using your artistic abilities!
Drama:
- Meet others who are just as interested in acting as you are!
- Play some improv games and explore the world of theatre arts and performance.
- Work on a drama throughout the week and perform it at the conclusion of the camp.
Creative Movement:
- There is no need to be experienced in dance to participate.
- Jump, twist, stretch, and try out some creative movement throughout the week.
- Let your imagination run wild and try something new!
